Partnering, Knowing, Creating
Friday 03 December 2004
Innovation and partnership (with your customers and other service providers) are essential to the success and longevity of any business. Alliances are becoming much more prevalent in an increasingly competitive market where
accountability and risk management are becoming key buying issues. Decision makers are being forced to think more creatively about the way their company's work and whom they work with.
At a global level this type of business strategy is no new phenomenon, however, within the Northern Ireland business community there is an inability to say No, and a culture of silence and non-disclosure among competitors in many sectors. "No problem, we can do that", "Well... it's not really our expertise but leave it with us". This mentality and inability to do things differently has stifled the success of many Northern Ireland businesses in a national or international context. The maxim for NI business leaders should be Collaborate and Innovate or Suffocate! Biznet Solutions have based their strategy for the future on these pillars;
Partnering | Knowing | Creating
By putting in place strategic alliances with key partners (BT, Cisco Systems, Microsoft, Macromedia) and strengthening links with key clients, the service levels provided by Biznet Solutions have never been higher. The
knowledge base within the company is continually broadened through staff training and development and a
proactive approach to finding new ways of doing things. By attending events and reviewing processes across
the globe, they are constantly posing the question, is there a better way? This enables Biznet Solutions to
continually create solutions that make technology work for their clients.
"Innovation and creativity have always been at the very core of the vision of Biznet Solutions - we have matured from an enthusiastic group of young web pioneers in the late 90s, into a business consultancy providing clients with real solutions to real business issues.
We have lost none of our enthusiasm and we continue to recruit young talent into our growing team. However the focus now is much more on providing IT solutions for day-to-day business processes and providing visible return on investment for our clients... its not just e-business, its good business"
Adrian Bradley - Managing Director,Business and Government
This approach is clearly evident within one of Biznet Solutions' latest projects, where
creative use of technology and a partnership approach provided an invaluable solution for a client.
Chemical Treatment Services (CTS) is a Belfast based water treatment company, providing chemicals, equipment and consultancy services. They are currently involved in many large projects for large beverage companies, Hospitals Pharmaceutical Companies, Electronics Manufacturers and Local Government Councils in Northern Ireland. Biznet Solutions have recently worked with CTS, to develop a mobile computing solution, allowing CTS to monitor water impurity levels and produce risk management reports for a major client.A major client of CTS wanted to award the contract for Legionella Risk Management, to an organisation offering a web based solution, ensuring that the appropriate staff would be able to react promptly to any Legionella Risk, across their 100+ properties.
A key requirement for both CTS and the Client was the need for a truly mobile solution. Test results needed
to be captured whilst in the field, accompanied by an authenticated signature to record confirmation of a
site visit. Biznet Solutions developed a handheld computer based application, ensuring that CTS could record
electronic signatures from client staff, to confirm that a site visit had been made. These signatures were the synchronised with the main database, ensuring that both site visit details and test results, were immediately accessible to authorised users, via a secure web system. Technology was used in a practical way to improve efficiency, ensure authenticity and accuracy. Time and Money were saved and made, business processes were improved "its not just e-business, its good business".
So in closing let me reiterate,Partnering, Knowing and Creating...make it the future of your business!
