Biznet IIS provides WIMPS with an award winning site!

Biznet IIS is delighted to announce that WIMPS (Where Is My Public Servant) has been shortlisted for the Best Educational Web Portal category at the Stockholm Challenge Awards 2008. The Stockholm Challenge 2008 features a six category Award for ICT for Development projects.

The Educational Award will be presented to the winning site that effectively utilised information and communication technologies which, shows convincing benefits to people and communities while providing sufficient evidence that the site is future proof.

WIMPS will be competing against educational authorities throughout the world at the ceremony which is to be held on the 22nd of May at a glitzy affair at the Blue Hall in Stockholm.

The Biznet IIS team would like to congratulate WIMPS on their achievement to date and every success at the award ceremony in May.
