Public Health Alliance for the island of Ireland partner with Biznet
Tuesday 09 January 2007 Business and GovernmentThe Public Health Alliance for the island of Ireland was formed by the joining together of the Public Health Alliance Ireland (PHAI) and the Northern Ireland Public Health Alliance (NIPHA) in 2006.
The PHA is an independent, voluntary alliance of individuals and organisations from all sectors across the island of Ireland with a shared commitment to working together for a healthier and fairer society by improving health and challenging health inequalities.
The new site has been launched in advance of the Creating Connections II Conference in February. The aim of the conference is to provide a forum for individuals and organisations from a range of sectors to contribute to the discussion around a rights based approach to health and identify how we can all endeavour to improve the quality of life for everyone on the island of Ireland.
