Dublin Youth Services Board Launch New System

City of Dublin Youth Services Board (www.cdysb.ie) selected NI’s web development company of the year 2006 to develop their new interactive web portal. Over 200 companies tendered for the project with 3 companies reaching the final. CDYSB however decided that Biznet Solutions team had the necessary X factor and know how.
The Board, which has been in existence since 1942 supports the development of youth work in Dublin City supporting youth groups, management committees and professional youth workers to agree strategies for development of local programmes, projects and services.
Gerry Seery of the City of Dublin Youth Services Board said: “We’re delighted with the job that Biznet did for us. The website is modern, clean and dynamic, easy to navigate and is accessible in both English and Irish. It is also currently one of the few web sites that meets and exceeds web accessibility standards.
“The site is very comprehensive and provides clear advice and information. We administer funding on behalf of the Government and it’s important that all our stakeholders are kept fully up to speed with developments. Biznet listened to what we needed and came up with the right solution”.

The new City of Dublin Youth Services Board website was launched at a reception in the Mansion House on Tuesday (30/5/06) and was attended by Sile de Valera TD, Minister for State with Responsibility for Youth Affairs.
