In Pole Position - Another 1st for Biznet

Web Development Company of the Year, Biznet Solutions, races ahead again to become the first private sector organisation in N.Ireland to win the prestigious international accreditation standard ISO 27001, a new global standard for Information Security Management . Biznet was first past the post once more and joins an elite group of only 50 leading organisations in the UK to have gained the esteemed certification.
The standard is the international benchmark for effective, secure information management practices that protect organisations and ensures their compliance with data protection, privacy and computer misuse regulations. The application of the standard is designed to minimise the impact of security incidents and maximise IT productivity and investment in businesses.
Adrian Bradley, Biznet Solutions Director, said, “We are delighted to achieve this accreditation which represents another first for Biznet following the Web Development Company of the Year accolade. It clearly demonstrates the high priority we place in providing a secure IT environment for our client base, which includes truly global organisations such as BP and Shell.”
Biznet Solutions was named Web Development Company of the Year in the 2006 Goldeneye Awards, Northern’s Ireland’s leading technology awards. It was also only one of two commercial companies in the province to win the prestigious
BS 7799-2:2002 international accreditation standard, concerning the proper handling of business information, in September 2005 and was accredited with Investors in People standard in March 2002.
